Ayana is an aspiring artist and filmmaker, born and raised in Kazakhstan. She is now based in "Vancouver, BC" the unceded territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh nations. She recently graduated from Simon Fraser University with a BFA degree in Film Production.

Ayana is a nomad. She deeply appreciates and cherishes the culture she is coming from. In each project she shares her roots with the audience. Through her work, Ayana is always trying to touch people’s hearts and souls, breaking stereotypes on her way. She is always ready to try something new and improve. She has a background in narrative and experimental films, documentaries, commercials, and photography.
